Field Description:

The CVF flying field is an 730′ x 60′ paved runway, running east to west.  There is a slight slope to the field, more pronounced on the eastern side.  The field is situated so the sun is at the back of pilots.  Elevation at the field is approximately 4750 feet.

The field was initially paved in 2000.

Part of the field was re-paved in 2013.

Additional covered space was added in 2014, along with work tables for larger aircraft.  Our solar power charging system was upgraded at the same time.
